Blame PM Harper!

This is the new Liberal/lefty tactic, it's never their fault, it's PM Harper's fault. These lefties wanted Dion as PM last week, this week they have booted them to the curb, BUT, it's all PM Harper's fault. Their support is dropping faster than a stone in the river, but it's all Harper's fault. They want to hold a coronation for Iggy, and it's all PM Harper's fault that they have to do it. These bozo's think adscam was Harper's fault.

Do they really think that average Canadians watching their BS believe them? Are they so delusional that they really believe what they are spouting, or is it some sort of Harper derangement syndrome?

The Liberal party of Canada is a shadow of what they used to be, and they think it's all PM Harper's fault. Maybe they should look in a mirror and seriously ask themselves, what they believe in.

They are in crisis but they refuse to acknowledge the fact. You see, Liberals are all about fancy words that mean nothing and action is a dirty word to these guys. Blame Harper they yell, that will cure all our troubles. Elect the new Liberal leader by a vote of 77 MP's, that is democracy to Liberals. It stinks, and voters understand that stench, it smells of rot and corruption.

Hedy and Holland seriously think the coalition is still a good idea, even as their poll numbers plummet, but Iggy will save them. HA! A new saviour is born, just before Christmas, and if it doesn't work out, well....

Blame Harper!!

I used to be too young to be cynical, but I'm aging fast!
It is evident that people who are predisposed to hate, are easy prey to the propaganda that is spewed by the leaders of the left, and aggressively distributed by the non-discriminating media.
As long as the objective is to cast blame in the conservative direction, these liberal sheeple will fanatically support any accusations even when there is no truthful reason to do so. Like hooligans at a soccer game, they will cheer for blatantly obvious lies. Honest analysis is too much work if it doesn't support their side.
I'm sure there are such thoughtless fans on the right too, but at least the objective of the conservatives is to do the right thing because it is correct, not because it is politically expedient.
It is comforting to know there is a team of serious and reasonable leaders in Ottawa during this economic turmoil, rather than a loaf of waffles that try to please the polls by throwing my money to ineffective, questionable causes.

Excellent post, Hunter.

They all have to get in the "talking point" This is all Harper's fault!!!

The real tragedy though, is how our fair and balanced media, are also on the "blame Harper" track.

It's all Harper's fault is another way of saying: "Harper outsmarted us and beat us but good". However you look at it, if Harper can destroy the Liberal party that must mean that he is one powerful and intelligent leader. Therefore, he should be running Canada with a majority. Nice to know that my PM is a winner and a conquere. The LPC is showing themselves as weak and ineffective if the PM can destroy their party without lifting a finger. I'm sure glad I'm on the same side as Harper - I'd hate to have him destroy me.

Who's a sheeple?

I'm guessing , by the misspelling of Bloc around here, people aren't following their politics as closely as they'd like to think they are. The Liberals just won an election in Quebec, darlings. In Quebec, Conservatives have burnt their bridge; under Harper, they have nowhere to go but down.

Myster...your first mistake is reading The STAR and thinking that it presents a fair and balanced picture of what is actually happening in this country.

Your second is buying into the spin.

The media have been wrong about PMSH since he united the right.
The poison pill that the opps over-reacted to in the update, in a poll, proved popular with Cdns.

MSM was shocked that the coalition coup fell flat on it's face when Canadians were polled.
Shocked because they are in a Harper hate bubble, and had no idea how ineffective their hate messaging was.
Now they know.

So why would msm be right about the Quebec thing?

mystereeoso , you seem to think the Provincial Liberal party in Quebec is simply a pseudopod of the national Liberal Party.

While I understand the Liberal Party constitution may treat the provincial parties as part of the national party, simple observation should tell you that the Quebec and the BC Liberal parties are quite independent entities and have little in common with their national counterparts.

Face it, the "Liberal" brand name is going the way of the "Big Three", and they all need to do a massive restructuring to survive and prosper in the new millennium.

Baaaaaaa. Actually, hi-fi, it is the Libs who are sheeple. I mean, who else repeats, ad nauseum, false talking points about our PM. Like you, for example.

OK, Alberta Girl, Wilson and Eskimo, read about it in The Post if you don't want to use the vomitorium.

Thucydides, your comment and its conclusion are a little duller than your namesake.

Sheeple of Eden, re: "I mean, who else repeats, ad nauseum, false talking points about our PM. Like you, for example."

Well, I guess if he's your PM he can't be my PM - is that what you're implying? You're saying he's only the PM of some Canadians; is that so and not others? Or are you just sayin' you don't like sharing?

Uh. Huh.

As for the repetition of false talking points ad nauseum...perhaps you could elaborate on your choice of example.

Speaking of Provincial Liberal Parties, in Alberta the party takes great pains to distant itself from the federal party. They have even talked about changing their name.
With a lib majority, even a small one, in Que perhaps Duceppe will see the writing on the wall. Blackmail for Que is over.
Funny Danny boy is very quiet lately. Must be that 1.27 billion surplus he has and doesn't want Que and Ont to know about it. He might have to pay up big time in equalization pymts to them.

Yup, that's exactly what I'm saying. I never thought of it that way until you said it but, you know what? You're right. You don't deserve a great PM like Harper.

Oh, and stereo? I don't imply. If I have something to say, I'll say it outright. If you want to make up stories, go right ahead. Whatever floats your boat.

Lib talking points - you want examples? Good grief. If you can't recite them by memory by now, you should consider dropping out of the Liberal Party. You've had three years to memorize them.

Well then. There you have it. I've heard it said that ignorance is bliss. That's not a talking point but simply a truism.

But there's even still a truer point you're not imagining yet. And that is that you and I both, as Canadians deserve a BETTER PM than Mr. Harper.
