I missed the interview, but you can watch it at CTV News online.
Here is the first segment, just keep watching they have the full interview.
Funny how every "average Canadian" asked a question was a lefty, except for one guy from Calgary. CTV should be embarrassed by their lack of respect for our Prime Minister. My advise to CTV, keep pushing the coalition, and asking the PM to apologize for wanting to cut off taxpayers money to political parties. Keep pretending that the Bloq is not an active participant in the coalition. This will sell real well to the lefties, who don't advertise on CTV, so your revenues will decrease. Funny how they are not allowing comments at the site!
I think I will go back to watching the CBC, at least they are honest in their Liberal bias. CTV pretends to be fair and balanced, but listen to the interview. Every question was an attack on, not just PM Harper, but every Conservative voter as well.
CTV might want to consider the fact that Quebec votes Bloq, and a majority of Canadians outside of Quebec voted for Conservatives. So, every time you dish OUR Prime Minister, you tick off the majority of Canadians. Liberal lefty lackeys just don't understand that Toronto is not the center of the universe for 95% of Canadians.
By the way CTV, how are those revenues going? Down??? No kidding! HA!

According to us "dissectors" over at BLY, there may have been different versions for different viewers/regions.
I have access to all regional channels inc. ATV and west. I missed ATV but caught it from the Toronto feed (which BTW did not introduce it). That program was not precisely the same as the one I watched on-line, later.
I wrote CTV a seething letter. (well as seething as I get...lol)
I hope you watch it. You will be proud of PMSH when you see what he is up against. What a couple of ( especially 1) creeps.
Can they actually be editing for different parts of Canada. Now that would be a disaster if it were true. Bias for all to see.
I watched the BC version and the PM handled himself well. he is looking more and more like a PM.
I thought Fife was less combative than he has been before but the 'Canadians' who asked the questions were rude and obviously playing on the other team.
But what else can we expect. Cheers.
For anyone who missed it, it will be repeated later today on ctv.
Watch it, and after reading all the comments, pay attention to the whole thing.
The interviews I would like to see again are last years, where he predicted some problems with the economy, and the steps he would take to lessen the hurt. Funny how the opposition and media forget that.
I will be interested to see if the "little shadow" that looks like two boogers are still there. Talk about not cleaning up your film....you can't tell me the editors did not notice this as the film was being shot and move him or change the camera angle slightly.
They were probably all snickering and pleading ignorance.....
I just finished watching it, thought he did an excellent interview. You have to wonder though what he's really thinking about those reporters and how he'd really like to answer some of those rude and insulting questions. I know I wouldn't be able to hold back! He is a true statesman!
I get so p*ssed off when I watch them fawning all over Iggy, and Dion before him, and feeding all the right questions. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that interviews with liberals weren't rehearsed first!
My question for Lloyd and Fife, will you be working for the 2009 year end interview with majority leader PMSH. The PM should always respond to questions re his replacement or retirement with,
And when will you be replaced and by whom. When will you call it quits. When will you step down.
I would like to see a clip of the PM answering questions re afgan, or offering his sympathy to families of fallen heros, with the one of Iggy saying, I am not losing sleep over it, re the Isreali attacks by rockets.
Compare the expressions and body language of both of the leaders.
Welcome femaleConvoter! I agree, they try to make silk purses out of sows ears, but luckily the silent majority is on to their games.
Funny, we are not seeing any polls giving us the new "Iggy boost" polls. Where have all the pollsters gone?
"I watched the BC version and the PM handled himself well. he is looking more and more like a PM."
About time, no?
" but luckily the silent majority is on to their games."
You are neither...
I find the lack of polls strange as well. During the last election, I registered with all the pollsters to offer a conservative view. It seemed like I was doing a couple polls per day. I didn't know whether it would do any good, but I figured it wouldn't hurt. Now, I haven't seen any polls since, not even on media websites.

You must be new here. Most people in Canada are involved in religious ceremonies this time of the year. Even the media and pollsters take time off around now. Most of us don't like to push our faith on others, so you might not know most are members of or at least culturally involved in the festivities of the season. They often won't tell you why, but you would notice they often become very scarce this time of year. Why is that?
Merry Christmas!
They're all doing internal polls and I would imagine they are not favourable to the Liberals so they aren't publishing them. Just thought. Cheers.
Liberal supporter, in this season of good will towards even lefties like you, you manage to insult one of my posters. I thought you were a better person than that, but I guess I was wrong, it makes your Merry Christmas very disingenuous.
I apologize to my new poster femaleCONvoter for LS's rudeness. I suspect that as a female and a Conservative voter, she can give way better than the lefties can handle.
I would bet one Conservative woman against 10 male lefties any day. (That is a post for another day)
Liberal supporter, in this season of good will towards even lefties like you, you manage to insult one of my posters.
Mighty high horse you have there, hunter. The tone of the entire post was that somehow CTV should pander to advertisers by not showing "lefties". Or are you claiming they are biased, and the questioners they had are not representative? You seem shocked that in a country where over 60% did NOT vote for the PM's party, that there would be an abundance of questions reflecting that reality.
Where in all that diatribe was the "good will toward even lefties"? And doesn't saying "even lefties" somehow imply we are being given good will as a kind of sop, and that we actually are unworthy of good will? I am insulted!
Actually, I'm not insulted, I am pointing out the absurdity of your faux indignation.
Be that as it may, your commenter was wondering about the lack of polls recently, just as you say "Funny how each 'average Canadian' was a lefty". I don't know why you would say funny, usually that implies something crooked going on. How does an audience that reflects reality become "something funny about that"? Similarly, for your commenter thinking the lack of polls around Christmas "strange", I provided the obvious answer as to why this is. If that is insulting, take a look in the mirror.
Dear LS, if this is not a snarky response, I'm not sure what is.
Now, I haven't seen any polls since, not even on media websites.

If you disagreed with the tone of my post, then direct that towards me and my post, but do not feel that you can attack other posters who do not agree with you.
I found it very arrogant that you said "You must be new here", understand that "here" is my blog, it is not your blog. I enjoy reading comments from all sides but, this is not rabble.
I invite you into my house, for a discussion on issues, I want to hear all sides, but I will not allow disrespect.
It is not just you LS, maybe it's Christmas shopping stress, that is making me ornery.
I know my posts get some left of center people upset, sometimes I actually post something that will get your side all riled up, so I take my share of the blame for those posts.
What I enjoy is real debate over real issues that effect all Canadians.
Maybe my New Year's resolution should be to not intentionally bait lefties anymore.
I don't think it will last more than a week, but hey, I'll try!
Ok, I was giving your new poster a hard time. My apologies.
I do think the lack of polls could be explained by it being Christmas though. Though there could be other reasons.
Just admitting as you have done that you sometimes try to rile people is most refreshing to see. Nothing really wrong with that, but people need to know you are teasing them at times. It does get more people talking and that is what it is all about. For the New Year I will try to make sure the "good natured" kind of bantering is the rule, even when I am in complete disagreement. I'll see if I can outlast you...
Merry Christmas hunter, and to all!
Merry Christmas Liberal Supporter!
May we disagree with the best of intentions, and enjoy life from all perspectives.
During a true emergency everyone joins together to help those in need. We all need to remember that life is very precious.
Polls cost money, and internal polls are probably not too friendly to liberals. But, I haven't even had an Angus Reid poll for 2 weeks.
Tomorrow should be an interesting one with the senate announcements.
Lib Supporter- I am tired of this 60% mantra. It is true that 60 % voted for a party other than the CPC.
What you forget is that 40% of the population did not vote at all. Therefore it is 60% of 60% (the number of voters). So only 36% of the population voted for a party other than the CPC.
In fact 64% voted for either the CPC or none of the above,
Late's be clear when you start tossing around numbers that you put them in context.
If you are looking for who got the largest percentage then it was 'none of the above' followed with a tie for both the CPC and all other parties combined. Cheers.
Well, it's probably a good thing that my cable service was out all night due to the weather, otherwise you might have had to delete my COMMENTS to Liberal Supporter. I've had a chance to read all postings and can now be polite!
I'm not a new poster, just went through a name change while organizing my cyberlife. Sorry about that, Hunter.
To LS - Thank you for telling me what holiday we're currently celebrating, I would never have known! My comment was that I haven't seen any polls since the election and from where I come from, Christmas is this week.
I seem to remember that Hunter posted etiquette rules for comments a couple months ago, so I'll close now and wish everyone, even you LS, a Merry Christmas.
How many lib MPs are in the HofC that got over 50% of the vote in their ridings. Most had more votes against them than for them Remember Keith Martin and Ujjal.
And yes, conservatives and dippers were elected with more votes cast against them than for them.
Funny how the coup planners forget that most of them are there with over 60% of their ridings voting against them.
And I argue that all those that did not vote had no objection to PMSH and therefore voted for him in abstensia.
Also the coalition never mention that the 60% that voted for other parties did not just vote for them. There were many other parties that got votes but never elected anyone. The Greens come to mind.
Martin and Chretain and Trudeau all were PMs with the majority of canadians voting against them.
At least we can blame the coming deficit on the opposition, with Iggy bragging they made PMSH walk back down the hill.
That will be a good election ad, that we need a majority to keep from being forced into a deeper deficit.
Wouldn't it be funny if some riding got all the losing candidates to form a coalition and tell their sitting lib or ndp mp they want him out.
