I have noticed this many times, and this is only one example.
I wonder if the media have picked up on this yet? Every time PM Harper leans on the podium, it means he is about to give his truthful opinion on the question, no matter if the reporter likes the answer or not.
Watch for it from now on, and see if I'm right or not. I think I'm right.
Listen to PM Harper's answers. If you seriously listen to what he is saying, there is no-one else to vote for as PM. He makes the other leaders look like school kids running for class president. He is so far above the other leaders in intellect, honesty, and trustworthiness, that I can't believe people would vote for anyone but him.
Danny Boy and Duceppe can only watch and envy. Two small men who hate Canada. One is an egomaniac who cares only for himself, the other is a separatist who wants to break up my Canada. Get over it boys, what are you going to do when your own people vote against your wishes?
You see, I have faith in the people of Quebec and Newfoundland, I think they are smarter than you two give them credit for. What good will it serve for Quebec and Newfoundland to have NO Conservative MP's? The Liberals have no more brown bags to hand out to anyone, no matter what they have promised you. They are broke both financially and morally.

You are absolutely right. I noticed that when I was at his press conference here in Calgary.
I liked how the PM said yesterday that we all have one vote and that vote can be for someone to sit in the bleachers or at the table. (paraphrased, but that is the message)
Listen to the last statement PM Harper makes. Makes me wonder what they have up their sleeves. Wonder what they are going to announce on Monday that will help workers?
My hope? Income splitting for families.

This reminds me a lot of Stephen Harper at the debates: a lot of broad sweeping statements with absolutely no examples or facts to back it up.
The difference is of course that Harper was, at most times, outnumbered four to one and really did not have the time or opportunity to defend himself. You have all of the space in the world to actually present a compelling argument and you back it up with.. nothing.
Harper has run one of the most secretive, closed-to-the-public governments in recent Canadian history. I guess you could argue that he's honest because he just makes sure everyone is kept in the dark about anything he'd need to lie about.
Consider Duceppe's question at the debate: If the Tory funding cuts to the Arts Culture were based on some objective analysis, why was nobody allowed to see this analysis?
