My Beloved Country...Beware!!!

Did the Conservatives peak too soon. Nope. Here's my take. Voters only tune in during the last week. So what will they see reported, the Conservative platform.

I like their platform, steady as it goes, but I'm a Conservative. Stepping out of the box, what do we see?

The NDP, typically gets the me, me, support me for life, vote.
The Liberals, typically get the brown bag, you helped me get money and I don't have to work, vote.
The Greens, typically get the protest, that's what we do best, vote.
The Bloq, typically get the separatist, only if we get huge $$$$ from Canada first, vote.

All of those parties think about their goals and ambitions first, our country last. It's easy to scream about your love of country while you still have a French passport, it's easy to yell about our health care while you access a private clinic, it's easy to smack Canadians over the head, time and time again, while you declare your desire to split up our country, and finally, it's easy to be green if you don't have to pay for your projects, if you think it's okay to suck Canada dry through your green straw.

Personally, as an average Canadian, I am sick of the attack on our Prime Minister. The most intelligent PM we have ever had, in Canadian history, is getting no respect, especially from the media. Only the National Post has printed positive articles on the Conservatives.

CTV makes me sick, just look at the articles they are posting on their website:

CTV is in full attack mode, they are so shrill, even my seeing eye dog can't watch the station anymore.

I'm starting to think that if the Conservatives can not get a majority, it would be better for Dion to win a minority government so he can implement his green carbon tax, and Jack will prop him up with business tax increases. As the economy tanks, and our taxes raise, we will cry for PM Harper to come back and fix the mess.

I can only hope that it will not be too late. I fear we might lose the best PM we have ever had because the lefties, with no plan and no leader, are just jealous, or should I say, green with envy.

PM Harper is so far above the other leaders in every respect, that they would prefer to kill our Canada, just to gain joint power. They, and their voters are such small people, that they need to attack instead of build up. They would prefer to see Canada go the way of Iceland (national bankruptcy) then to vote for a Conservative PM.

I have gone from being "sick of it", to crying for my beloved country. Beware of what you sow.

Stephane Dion has dual citizenship (like 700,000 other Canadians). He travels on a Canadian passport.

If you believe Dear Leader is the most intelligent PM we have ever had? You HAVE been inhaling.

And...
The Conservatives, typically get the double digit IQ vote.

No, No Hunter - they will blame him for leaving them a mess that they had to raise taxes and make cuts.

Ala Cretien/Martin vs Mulroney, even though it is an entirely false perception as to what really happened.

I saw the PM on the National and I was so impressed and wonder how anyone watching could not see that he loves this country and has had his finger on the pulse for over a year.

Then I saw him on CTV news and Lloyd was almost hostile to him.

Interesting you have all those headlines. Something to throw back at the MSM when all is said and done.

Ala Cretien...

Good golly goshers, 'Berty Gal. You're so illiterate.

If the economy tanks, and the Libs are in power, it'll be a socialist's wet dream... they can raise all the taxes they want as a "temporary" measure.

Hey, Alberta Girl. Your boyfriend is back, I see. You must be all a-titter with joy and excitement. LOL.

gonna vent a little

Watching Duceppe, a freaking seperatist! campaigning in Ontario, I just about puked.
And, like in the debates, Dion gives Duceppe the nod.

Mr Unity said NOTHING about Atwood crying vote 'Bloc' because the artsy fartsty vote is more important than a united Canada.
Not that anyone in our Liberal media even asked Dion what he thought.

BTW, I did not like Epp's pmb, because it may have been a back door to the abortion issue;
and I did not like the bill that opened up a censorship loophole.
So those changes PMSH made were for some of us Conservatives too, not just lefties.

And if cutting the fat off Arts & Culture lost all of Quebec's support. Tough.
We are in rough economic times, ALL programs MUST be scrutinized. Don't like it?
Bitch to Charest about using your 'fiscal imbalance' windfall to give you a tax cut instead of propping up your artists.

it was so touching when mr. harper looked out into the collective eyes of our nation and told us that there were likely some good buying opportunities with all this confusion in the stock market... at least that what's some businessmen told me at a luncheon today.

yup. mr. harper, the common man with the common touch.

Think of the sound of shrieking moonbats if it were Harper that had dual citizenship!

S.Q. says: "You HAVE been inhaling."

Enter Jean Crouton: "A proof is a proof....." What were you saying, southern kweebec? Something about intelligence?

PMSH 'told us that there were likely some good buying opportunities' is like, really, like, bad eh Jeff?

Not touchy feely enough for yah?
Waaaaay better to whine, 'I feel your pain, it all seems so so so hopeless', booohooo.
Yah, that'll get Canadians confidence skyhigh....duh
Dion and Layton are irresponsible whiners, not leaders.

Chretien had to come out in contradiction of Dion today, to help calm the markets.

BTW, Canadian banks (TD) have been invite by the US, to looking at making some 'good buys' in their market.

But Dion proclaiming that Canada is the worst of the G7 for GDP, right before the IMF made a special note of how Canada will be leading the G7 in growth.
What else is Dion wrong about....oh, everything.

Hunter!!!
did you catch Richardson just now reporting on CTV that Duceppe is making a comments that amounted to a subtle offer to the Liberals that he wants a coalition government.!!!

I'm repeating myself here,
A Liberal leader sooo weak the seperatists see themselves as a partner in a Dion government!!

Mr Clarity Act MUST answer this offer so as Canadians know who will run the government if Dion wins.
He said nothing when Atwood went public with voting the Bloc instead of Harper. THIS must be answered!

So Hunter, when Dear Leader looked into the camera and said it's a buying opportunity, who was he talking to? The elitists with money?

My question to you: Whether you think this move was smart or not, intended or not, do you not consider this move insulting to voters? Is this not basically saying "Canadians are stupid enough to be manipulated easily?"

"Personally, as an average Canadian, I am sick of the attack on our Prime Minister. The most intelligent PM we have ever had, in Canadian history, is getting no respect, especially from the media. Only the National Post has printed positive articles on the Conservatives."

I hate to be childish here, but Harper really did start it. There have been attack ads about Dion since the Liberal leadership convention a year and a half ago. Harper got elected in 2006 with attack ads. Half of the Conservative ads on TV right now are attack ads about Dion. Are you actually oblivious to this? Does it truly just go one way in your world?

Secondly, how much MSM do you actually follow? I've seen tons of positive articles about Stephen Harper in the Globe and Mail.

Finally, could you substantiate and back up your comment about Stephen Harper being the most intelligent PM in our history?

You just contradicted yourself in the space of two paragraphs. You recognize that Dion has a plan for the environment (greenshift) and Layton has a plan for social programs/balanced budget, but then you deny the existence of these plans in your next breath?

I'm giving you a chance here -- prove that you're not just full of fallacious rhetoric.

Those are some great plans to help out with the economy that you cite Mr. Logicallyspeaking. As we all know that taking 40 billion dollars out of Canadians pockets while not reducing CO2 at all, and raising taxes on business is a sure recipe to cure our financial problems, right?

Southern Quebec said...

If you look at the second photo of Dear Leader, you can almost see his nose growing. But, alas, not his IQ. So, when are you going to defend 'smartest PM EVEH!'. Enquiring minds want to know.

Wilson, is English a second language?

Sorry, I missed the part where I said they were good plans. My rather obvious point was simply that they ARE plans. To deny that the Liberals or NDP have a plan or vision for Canada is.. well.. what's a euphimism for stupid?

You want to disagree with what they propose? By all means. That's a different debate. But denying their existence is kind of like denying the link between smoking and lung cancer - surely nobody would be stupid enough to do that..

Yep - I heart Ti-Guy!

"yup. mr. harper, the common man with the common touch."

Um Jeffy- do you have stocks - well since you are a "starving artist" probably not - but I would bet that Dion,Rae,Ignatiff,Goodale,McCallum, not to mention Layton and Duceppe all have stocks and I would bet that either they or their investment manager are looking for great deals right now.

How come it is that Stephen Harper is the ONLY politician that has to parse every word so he doesn't hurt Canadian's feelings.

Every other leader can say anything, they can smear Harper and it's OK, they can outright lie and it's OK.

But Stephen Harper can't say something that is true without it becoming a defining issue in the campaign.

Grow up Jeff - he spoke the truth - there is nothing wrong with it and in my mind, it is refreshing to have a prime minister that says something that is true.

Oh by the way, Jeff - you never answered my question as to whether the FACTOR grant that you are protesting was one that was actually cut.

Can you please just answer the question!!!!
