Why? Well it appears the Liberal candidates really are trying to hide the poop, called the Green Shift. How do I know, well this is what the Liberal candidate in Edmonton Leduc has to say about the Green Shift.......nothing, she's hidden it from voters in Edmonton Leduc. Isn't that what puffins do? I'm sure Iggy told us the Liberals should adopt the bird, seems at least one Liberal candidate has listened.
Liberal deputy leader Michael Ignatieff says the industrious little seabird — with its black and white plumage, distinctive striped beak and orange feet — is a "noble" creature that exemplifies Liberal values.
"It's a noble bird because it has good family values. They stay together for 30 years," Ignatieff said Thursday outside a Liberal caucus retreat in the Newfoundland and Labrador capital.
"They lay one egg (each year). They put their excrement in one place. They hide their excrement.… They flap their wings very hard and they work like hell.
"This seems to me a symbol for what our party should be."
I finally got a campaign postcard from my Liberal candidate, delivered by Canada Post, not by a door knocker. One side has her qualifications, nurse and psychologist, UNIVERSITY TEACHER (not professor, don't want to scare us red-necked hillbillies), so she is one of Dion's sacrificial lambs, a woman running in a riding where Conservative James Rajotte gets over 60% of the vote.
I would feel sorry for her, but as a psychologist, she should know better than to hide her Liberal party platform. The reverse side of the postcard talks about defending public health care, improved access to childhood education, national security of our food, air and water, development to assure a sustainable economy for ALBERTA, and eradicate poverty.
Not one word, not one mention, of the Liberals main election platform, the Green Shift. She doesn't lie, but she sure does hide the Liberal poop, called the Green Shift.

I haven't received a single piece of literature from any candidate other than my Conservative one (Stephen Harper) at my home. I think there's certain ridings where they just run someone knowing they haven't got a prayer. And accordingly they don't spend any money or time campaigning.
Any idea hunter, what's going on in Edmonton-Strathcona?

I drive through the area to work, funny how Rahim Jaffer's signs are disappearing off of front lawns.
I was worried last election because of the sign wars, but not so much this time. I'm not sure what Linda Duncan is doing, but she relies on her students for help, and to vote for her. They might still be at home for Thanksgiving and might not vote. Also the election was called before she could brainwash her students.
I do sense that the Liberal voters might vote NDP in the riding to cause problems, as I see NO Liberal lawn signs, except on public property. This might be a problem. Remember, Liberals in Alberta are frustrated because they never win, so like babies they either stay home or vote for whatever lefty party might win.
One final point, Rahim has the ethnic vote, Duncan has the university vote and maybe this time the Liberal vote.
I just can't understand those voters who prostitute themselves by voting against a party instead of for their own choice.
Too close to call, but Rahim always seems to pull it off.

If NDP voters really want Layton to be NO 2, they have to strategically vote conservative to keep a seat away from Dion.
Liberals will have to vote conservative to keep a seat away from Layton. By voting against conservatives to avoid a majority, either party might be placing themselves into the third or fourth spot and giving NO 2 to the Bloc. We are pretty sure who NO 1 is going to be, so they should be working to take silver rather than bronze or nothing. But they are so full of hate for PMSH they can't see the results of their actions.
Hunter, with your knowhow to put up videos etc could you do the following.
Picture of Dion, all smiles (not a nerdy one) and have a voice over saying, these voters are for me, and then have pictures of Picton, Manson, Bernardo and a few other famous prisoners, floating by.
Then have Robert Fifes comments on the voting bloc that Dion has locked up. The Willie Horton ad did Dukasis in, maybe this would do Dion in.
Maybe you can't use pictures for privacy reasons, but you could ask the question, will these prisoners vote liberal, and have their names float by. Should be able to do something to let the public know why Liberals are against tougher crime bills.
