Oh Goody, A Pile On!!!

Who else will he creatively confiscate his environmental plan from? First we have Steve Janke, We now hear that at a climate change conference, he reads a two year old UN report, Then we have Return of the Toryhe plagiarizes from a Climate report, in 2005, but he doesn't stop there. He appropriated one plan from Suzuki.

Jonathan Kay: Great take by Janke — who is Stéphane Dion to lecture others about plagiarism?

If that isn't enough, he appropriated his "green shift" from the real Greens, but May loves him so much, she let's him.

He even steals the name "green shift" from a real business who has to sue him to get the name back!

Seriously, does this guy have an environmental plan that he hasn't stolen? Does he even understand the environmental issue, or is that why for two years he did nothing and allowed CO2 emissions to increase by over 30%. And, he's the "smart" Liberal? HA!

Oh, and let's not forget that Clarity Act.

Stephen Harper introduced Bill C-341 in 1996.
Dion introduced the Clarity Act in 2000, four years later.

Well, if you accuse your opponent of a wrong doing, you sure better not have done it yourself.

Funny Dippers haven't jumped on this.

Dion may have plagarized his speeches from any number of sources, he may have co-opted the Green Shift name and,for all I know, he may usurped the scribblings of Karl Marx for his entire policy. However, none of that matters. He's a Liberal, and Liberals are allowed to do anything they please. After all isn't the Liberal Party the annointed natural governing party? Don't they represent all that is truly wise and benevolent in society? Aren't they allowed to flaunt the Election Canada rules as they see fit? When you are the chosen elite of the nation are you not permitted to ignore the restrictions that are placed on the mere mortals who can only hope to achieve the lofty heights which are yours by divine right?
If you are not sure of the answers to these questions, just ask any Liberal and he/she will answer in the affirmative.

Well said Powell Lucas!!
I noticed on Mike Duffy a sense of nervousnes. Maybe they have built up Dion too much and he might win. Then how would they get rid of him? The National Press Gallery is playing a game of manipulation to set up their friend BOB Rae. Keep The conservatives to a minority so the Liberals can dump Dion and bring their so called Liberal Star to take over the Leadership. Another couple years of minority conservative government and then force an election for Bob Rae to become Prime Minister.
That is the message I am picking up from Mike Duffy and Craig OLiver. I have lost respect for all of them.

Fay, wouldn't that just be a hoot if the Liberals won during a time of economic crisis, with Dion as their leader? It would kill the party forever.

I wonder how sorry Canadians feel for the arts & culture crowd right now.
I wonder what Canadians think of Dion and Layton promising increased funding to them.
Doesn't it make yah think Dippers and Libs had no clue how bad things were going to get, and PMSH did?

Is tomorrow the day reality sinks in? Canada can not afford all the frills the special interest groups have been treated to over the last10 years.

You're right Hunter and even funnier would be John McCallum as finance minister. The MSM would have to fill him with coffee to stay coherent enough to get his economic message out.

Ha Ha - how true - I go over to NNW this morning and both Jim Travers and Barbara Yaffe have pro-Harper writings. I kept waiting for the but.....

And let's not forget the "zero deficit in three years" policy which the Liberals copied from the Reform in mid-1990s. (But that wasn't Dion who did it.)
