Can You Hear Us NOW?

Was that LOUD enough?? Another earthquake hit last night, but this one thankfully did not cost any lives. It was a shake up of the complacent Democrats who thought they had Kennedy's seat wrapped up. Funny how one sentence can turn everything around.

Scott Brown, responding to a question called it the "people's seat".

This will be the turning point for Americans, it's not about Democrats or Republicans anymore, it's about the "people". It's about time the people understood that concept.

Early tonight with only about 10% of the vote in, you could tell who was going to win, the momentum was with Scott Brown.

Brown's campaigne headquarters:

Congrats Senator Brown, take that pickup truck and drive it to Washington! The "people" have spoken loud and clear.

Just for You!

BOSTON (The Borowitz Report) – Firing up voters on the eve of the special election to fill the late Edward M. Kennedy’s Senate seat, Republican candidate Scott Brown spoke at a campaign rally today, proclaiming, “With your help, our dream of depriving millions of health care is within reach.”

“Let’s send a message, Massachusetts!” Mr. Brown exhorted the crowd. “Let’s tell people across the country that if they want health coverage, they are shit out of luck!”

An aide to Mr. Brown said that internal polling reveals that the Republican’s anti-healthcare message may be catching on: “Right now, Scott is showing a double-digit lead among people who describe themselves as douchebags.”

I wonder if Gergan would take back that question, if he could.
The new senator also got a couple of good zings in last night-by saying this campaign ended with Air Force One making an emergency landing in Logan. He said he asked the President if he should drive his truck to Washington so he could see it.

My my SQ!

Such a clever response.

I suppose it's to disguise your anger and weeping. Your flailing and lashing out at others is quite enjoyable to behold too!

It’s funny how people can be progressive comrades one minute, but as soon as they step out of line they become “douchebags”.

You stay classy SQ! :)

SQ - your comment is racist, sexist, and ageist. I think you should apologize.

Already there are hints that health care will not come back for a vote until Senator Brown takes his truck to Washington.
And another nominee for TSA chairmanship has withdrawn his name.
Just maybe, O will get the message, no more czars, and check the background of those you have named.
The coming campaign for mid terms should be very interesting. Lots of dems going the way of the dodo, and any RINOS should be very worried.

And it's a GM truck - Obama is CEO.

The "left" are saying the election of Brown was not about healthcare and is a vindication of O'Bees policies - oh the spin of it all.

There shall be one hell of a "tea party" on the tailgate of that truck.

And, yet, you made that racist, sexist and ageist comment. So, SQ, if you don't really care, why did you go to the trouble to create the offensive comment?

Those that claim they don't care about US politics perhaps should. After all, 80% of our economy depends on every lefties favorite scapegoat (The US).

Canadians only consume a sliver of the goods produced in this country, be it wheat, automobiles, oil or whatever it is Quebec produces. Oh right, aside from subsidized aircraft and a bit of maple syrup, Quebec produces very little and is really a parasite to the rest of the country. Being endemically parasitic breeds an arrogant entitlement attitude that for some reason they shouldn't have to be productive. They are 'special' so they feel they shouldn't have to get their hands dirty. Quebec is the fat lazy sister of Confederation, sitting on the couch, watching TV and getting obese eating bob bons and complaining we don't care about her 'feelings'. Time to tell fatso to pitch in or leave home.
