The Bias Of CTV's Fife Is Staggering!

PM Harper gives an excellent speech at the World Economic Forum, and Fife nitpicks his comments about climate change to make it look like he was under fire from everybody, including American Iggy. The cut and splice job CTV did was awesome in it's bias against the Prime Minister of our country, Canada.

The sick little Libbot media reporters would prefer for Canada to look stupid on the world stage, then to give PM Harper any credit for a job well done. It's time to start using their own techniques against them. It's time to call them on their whining and sniveling. It's time for us to get serious about getting our message out, and blogs are the way to do it.

I took the biased video from CTV and cut and spliced it to generate my own biased message. I figure if they can do it, so can anyone who has a video capture program.

We can start cutting and pasting just like CTV/CBC/Global do to get their message out. I always thought that our news stations had rules that they had to operate under, but it appears they can slant the news anyway they want without fear of prosecution.

Well, we can all play the same game. We know that climate change is under fire because of blogs. We know that newspapers are losing money because of their bias, we know that we can get the word out using blogs.

I was outraged by Iggy, the American, telling me that he was "embarrassed" to be Canadian. I am a PROUD 4th generation Canadian and I am "embarrassed" by Iggy and the Liberal party of Canada for their obvious bias against our troops and our Prime Minister. They need to grow up. If the Liberals want to join with the NDP, I say go for it! But do not do it behind closed doors, grow some balls and come right out and tell us that is what you are doing. Let all the socialists join together in the clear light of the day, like they did with their coalition, then bring down this government so we can have a fair and honest election. Let the people vote, because we are getting tired of the underhanded, sleazy opposition tactics. They remind me of rats in a cave, vicious little creatures who like to attack in the dark, but refuse to come out into the clear revealing sunlight.

Climb out of the dark, into the clear Conservative light!

I've been saying for over a year that the only shot the Liberals have to form a "stable" government is a coalition with the NDP. Jack Layton knows this. The Dion optics failed so miserably that the Liberal brain trust decided to prorogue coalition talk, but they have to know it is the only chance they have to form government. Even when Ekos has the Greens at 13.5% nationally.

PS: By stable I mean enough votes to pass legislation. This does not account for the certain growth in Canadian Tea Parties if this occured.

Great editing!

I try to limit my viewing the disinformation News.

That is why save local tv campaigns fell on deaf ears @ my home.

There is no serious analysis done by our national media that isn't anti-Harper.
They are an embarrassment to thinking Canadians.

PMSH should challenge Iffy to one on one national debates.
One in each region, the West, the North, Central Canada and the Maritimes.

Maybe its time for the PM to grow some balls and tell us how he really feels about global warming.

The science is questionable and needs to be re-examined (and that's assuming it was ever 'examined' in the first place, which I highly doubt).

There's a general consensus among Conservatives that he doesn't believe in the science (in fact he's said so in the past) so why is he not saying so now?

Surely enough doubt has been cast on this world-wide scam that a politician could get away with questioning it?

Maybe he'd cause a domino effect with other world leaders who harbour similar views but are afraid to say so for political reasons?

Is he afraid that the third world despots who are so eager to get our punishment money would gang up and invade Canada?

As the Liberals are so keen to ask, "Is there a hidden agenda here?".

Look who has joined the Warmist cause. From a bulletin in the Washington Post this morning:
Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has called in a new audiotape for the world to boycott American goods and the U.S. dollar, blaming the United States and other industrialized countries for global warming. In the tape, aired in part on Al-Jazeera television Friday, bin Laden warns of the dangers of climate change and says that the way to stop it is to bring "the wheels of the American economy" to a halt
That puts Gore and Suzuki in good company.

Are Iffy and Heather Mallick, bff's? Your in good company, Iffy now aren't you? That Liberal mess that you inspire, is achieving quite the legacy of dissing their country. What a bloody loser!

Nothing, absolutely nothing justifies a rant such as what this transplanted elitist allowed to leave his lips.
It's unforgivable.

As for Bob Fife, he is a bitter, bitter individual. There is NOTHING engaging about him and it has trickled down to all aspects of CTV, imo.

My opinion is that they are aware of the huge abandonment of Conservative viewers and are now competing with CBC for the viewing audience from the left.
They have single-handedly disregarded an entire segment of the country. So disheartening.

wow, look at all the long faces in the media today,
re: courts will not force govt to bring home khadr, or even ask the Americans for him......

Amnesty Intl is chalking up the losses.
-Court rules, NO to Afghan detainees having Charter rights
-Court rules, NO to forcing the repatriation of alledged war criminal, (Canadian) Khadr

Amnesty charged that the Cdn Govt was complicite in 'torture' in the Khadr case...
I wonder if this has any implication on how the Supreme Court would rule on the Cdn Govt being complicite in 'war crimes' in afghanistan.

I just watched Fife not five minutes ago expounding on the Prime Minister's appointments to the senate. To paraphrase his comments; his argument was that Mr. Harper had used the excuse that he needed to prorogue parliament to gain leverage in the senate to bring an end to Liberal obstructionism. Mr. Harper had then had turned around and shut down parliament while there were a number of crime bills being debated. He then went on to say that Mr. Harper must think that Canadians are fools if he thinks they will fall for this contradiction.

For Mr. Fife's information, it is not the delays in getting crime bills through the senate that rankles conservatives (Big "c" and small). It is the swath of amendments to bills that completely gut their intent that is the problem. The Liberal's game, so as not to appear to be delaying passage of legislation, is to so alter a bill's content as to make it unpalatable to the Conservatives. This way the Conservatives have to either accept the Liberals watered-down version or reintroduce the bill and have it wend its torturous way through the House and back to the Senate. The Liberals can then claim that it is not they, but the Conservatives, who are delaying the legislation. A legal, but slimy, Liberal way of avoiding responsibility for their obstructionism.

Fife's Liberal propagandizing continued when he followed the party line and claimed that these were all political hacks that had been appointed, unlike that Liberal(can't remember his name, and he's not important enough to look up anyway)appointee who lived full time in Mexico and never took part in any senatorial activities.

The only one being made a fool of here is Mr. Fife who remains remains a mouthpiece for his Liberal comrades-in-arms.

What can we do to rid ourselves of Robert Fife and Jane Tabor bias liberal reporting at everything they write or report!... Jane is so liberal bias, it is sickening, and we should have a way of exposing her for what she writes. One thing we can do, is not open or read anything she writes, and turn her Question Peirod off immediately so her ratings will drop.... I am in the US at the present time, I only wish we had a Fox Network in Canada - they sure expose the left for what they truly are.... and have just been voted the network that is trusted the most in the US. We should have a way of exposing Jane and Fife - Fox sure exposes the left networks for what they truly are... and have now exposed Obama for all he stands for.,, his ratings are droping like a brick!.... Let have suggestions who we can pour the emails to, on Jane and Fife - and instead of Jane making fun of our PM - she should take a quick look in the mirror at herself.... She has lots there to fix!!!!

I'm kind of chuckling and grinning here. The Supreme Court ruled that Canada can NOT be forced to return Omar Khadr home. Well, shucks, I wonder what the bleeding hearts will have to say, now. After all, the Supreme Court has ruled this.

Then, I read (also in The Star) that some PETA protester in Newfoundland got pied.

Who needs Friday funnies when the news is this good?

Just kidding - bring on the funnies, Hunter.

I think it is great. Now Harper can't do the right thing and then appease his base by blaming the Court now. He's stuck with his position, and it cements the popular view that he is uncaring.

And the anger at the Harper regime continues. All your attempts at damage control are failing.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

Poor LS, you are the one who is angry and you would never vote Conservative anyways, so go ahead, make our day, call for an election!

Poor LS, you are the one who is angry.
That's the best you can do? Many Canadians are angry with this high handed government. It is fun watching the CPC spin though.

and you would never vote Conservative anyways,
I've voted for the PCs, but never the current ReformaCons. Nice projection though. Another example of why the CPC and BTs don't get it.

so go ahead, make our day, call for an election!
Yes, that's your current talking point. Naturally the Liberals won't tell you in advance, or cowardly Steve would just prorogue yet again.

If an election would make your day, Steve need only call the GG. What, he doesn't want to?

hunter said...

Well no LS, PM Harper would probably love an election right now. But if the Liberals are so upset with this prorogation, then the only thing they can do to show Canadians that they really mean it, is to take down the government and force an election.

Iggy has forced himself into a bad spot again. Look like a fool and support the upcoming budget, or stick to his position that prorogation is bad and take his lumps during an election.

Believe me, if Iggy and Layton think they can change 200 years of history and change the PM's ability to prorogue without calling an election, they are in lalaland. Also a coalition will not work at this point, if ever, in Canada. Not without seeing a huge east versus west divide.
