Liberals In LaLa Land!

Well the gloves are off. PM Harper called the carbon tax crazy, and to add insult to injury, he called the opposition Liberals, bankrupt intellectually! Too funny! He was really upset with the opposition today. I don't blame him, the opposition is useless.

Dion is making things up as he goes. Now everyone can expect monthly cheques to reduce heating costs, that's what Dion said! He also told Alberta to grab our wallets because we are the problem in this country. Dare he even appear in Alberta this summer? NEP II? That's going to go over well. Our carbon taxes would go to Quebec because they are lucky enough to use hydro power? Not going to happen Dion.

I think PM Harper respects Jack Layton because he has some intellectual brain power, Dion not so much. Watching Dion's interview with Mike Duffy, it was painfully obvious that he just doesn't have any political instincts, and he actually looks like Kermit. (Also never trust a man who has no upper lip, and a weak chin. Hey that's why he looks like Kermit!)

Good job by PM Harper! He gave it to the Liberals with both barrels, no holds barred. Notice how most of the MSM didn't cover this in the news? Not only are the Liberals in LaLa land, the MSM has joined them!

How is this shift tax going to affect the auto industry (whats left of it) in Ont. It was exempted from Kyoto. Why is dion picking on AB. Let's hope Stelmach has the same stuff Peter did, and threaten to cut of supplies to Ont and Que if this ever becomes law.
Buzz wants American cars banned from import, so lets ban cdn cars in Alberta. We have to let Ont and Que know we will not allow nep 11 to ruin our economy again. We have to fight back this time. The good news is that dion will never have a majority govt to get this passed. You can be sure the opposition would show up to vote.
I tried to listen to dion, without closed caption on, but could not understand him, his english and the shift plan will do him in.
PMSH is really starting to fight back, and I would not be surprised if he went to the GG and said, we have tried for 2 yrs to govern but with the antics of the liberals, we can no longer do this. Therefore I want to call an election asap.
I think the only reason the libs have acted like such fools is because of the fixed election date. Wonder what it would have been like if that wasn't in place.

If this goes through, then watch the Separatists in Alberta come to life. Saskatchewan and B.C. are also starting to develop their oil resources, and do you think they will also go along with DeYawn’s plan under the LIEberals. When DeYawn was elected leader of the LIEberals he made it a point that there would be no carbon tax – and if this is not a carbon tax, then what is?

Sad to say, but if you think it is bad that about 2,000 jobs lost at Air Canada is bad, just wait until the tax “shift” hits the fan. DeYawn wants to auto industry to fail because the auto is the biggest polluters in Canada that most people use. How is He going to tax the coal fired power plants in Ontario and Quebec? Sure the gasoline will be exempt, but what about diesel fuel? If the truck driver’s have to pay more per ltr then we all suffer – as well as the farmers cost of putting in their crops. I really hope DeYawn will go for an election with this – he will be destroyed like the Cons were – two seats.

I agree completely, lets have an election … the only things the Cons have to worry about is their lie to the Income Trust investors and the new copyright laws that will make every Canadian guilty – copying music from a bought CD’s and putting those songs on cassette or i-pod.

I will say this, if the Liberals form the next government, I am packing my bags and moving to Alberta, honestly.

Did you see Mike Duffy's puzzled face as Dion was "explaining" his green $hit.........LMAO. I watch Duffy a fair bit, and have never seen him produce a face like that. lol.

I've grown up in a neighbourhood in a town bordering the Quebec border, so I cant easily understand Dion's accent. But its the way he communicates. I'm sorry, but this guy is a HORRIBLE speaker.

Other Liberals are always telling us what Dion really means because the man can't communicate worth a damn. What he says needs to be larified all the time. Witness his gaffe on NATO invading Pakistan. There are tons of examples of this. On the world stage, this man would be an utter disaster. This catch phrase has been uttered numerous times, but seriously, its just not worth the risk to have Dion as leader of this nation.

Sorry, that should have read "can easily understand his accent.

I couldn't tell exactly, but I have heard, that he speaks with a Parisian accent. Can anyone confirm this? What I notice is he definatly does not speak like Quebecois.

Babylonian,

I've lived in New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Labrador, BC, Alberta and now this Liberal cesspool called Ontario and nowhere did I feel at home like I did in AB. I still consider myself an Albertan and I would give my left dangly to be back there. Unfortunately, though, moving to Alberta with a federal Liberal government is a lot like running away from home to the backyard. It would be a far different matter, though, if a strong separatist sentiment were to arise. I would trade Canadian citizenship in for citizenship in a strong and free Albera in a heartbeat

Re-igniting a new separatist charge in Alberta would be a huge disaster...and as much as I resist saying it, with Dion spewing his euphoric and moronic garbage..it won't be long. I live in Alberta and know exactly what will happen if somehow Canadians are stupid enough to believe that this will be readily accepted as they charge forward with their tentacles in Alberta's general direction. BIGGG MISTAKE!!!!

I'm left with my jaw agape. The last 30 seconds were the best, IMO.

PM Harper just let the Libs have it with both barrels. It's been a while since I heard him talk like that, completely without spin, with his passion showing through. Poor Liberals, the PM's lambasting is going to leave a mark!

It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of socialists.

What could you expect from the Nutty Professor and his gang of social engineers. The limousine liberals from the Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal elitist clique really do believe the rest of the country should function only for their benefit.
Garth Turner, on his blog, referred to Trudeau's implementation of the NEP as justified "...so all Canadians could benefit from resources located within our country's own borders." What he failed to mention is that nickle, copper, iron, lead, zinc, etc. also lie within Canadian borders, and yet Albertans didn't see the prices of these commodities being artificially controlled so we could purchase cheaper steel or automobiles.
This centre of the universe idea is so ingrained in these eastern elitists that they don't see the incongruity in their philosophy that believes what lies within the borders of Ontario and Quebec belongs to their citizens alone while everything beyond those borders belongs to the whole of Canada.

thanks for the comment me. I have two uncles in Alberta right now, from what I hear they like it. I love dinosaur fossils, the nature is gorgeous, it seems like a place to raise a family, shoot man, I really don't know whats stopping me.

Alberta? Why bother? The road to majority government leads to Ontario and Quebec. YOu can bet that he'll be there ALOT this summer.

Chantel Hebert picked up on Dion evading questions from reporters.
First day out, and Dion already can't answer the hard questions.

Don Newman made a telling comment at the end of an interview yesterday:
''and very courageous means very courageous in blowing out your brains''

I'm not kidding
go to thursday, to minute 23:15

The CPC in full panic.

I love the smell of desperation in the morning.

Steve threw his king after getting checkmated.

Hahahahahaha!

No, they got to pay the same low prices as everyone else, unlike Ontario, which paid well above world prices for Alberta oil for many years.

Anyone check out the poll at the Red Star? The question is:

Are you willing to pay higher taxes on fossil fuels if you also get an income tax cut?

So far it's 55% no and 38% yes. If the bulk of those responses are coming from Liberal fortress Toronto then it looks like Dion is going to have one hell of a fight selling his tax swindle to even his core constituency. Perhaps even Liberals have learned that a steaming pile of crap is still a steaming pile of crap even if you put chocolate sauce and sprinkles on it.

====================

The only desperation felt is by many people knowing that there is actually a slight chance that this idiotic brain-fart policy by such a clueless non-leader could one day be inflicted upon this country.

Freep away, fools! Us working people don't bother with polls. Except CPC staffers of course.

You're contained, now you're cornered. It's gonna be a great summer. They you get put out of your misery.

Hahahaha!

Such mean words, I'm going to cry...

Oops, no I'm not.

Got anything else besides trash talk?

No, of course you don't. Think you'll win an election on trash talk against actual policy?

I thought you moaned that the Liberals have no policies? That they have no leader?

Seems their leader introduced new policy!

And now the CPC is back at what they are good at, opposing. Soon they will be opposing officially, as the Official Opposition. Remember how good the CPC was in Opposition? The Liberals have really dropped the ball on opposing, just as the CPC has totally lost it on governing. Let's get them all back where they belong!

Hahahaha!

Nobody here's against policy. We're just against assinine, regressive, brain-dead policy that looks like it was pulled together after a night of binge-drinking.

So what was keeping Dion from pulling the plug on Parliament lo these many months? Oh, yeah, those polls nobody pays any attention to.

Go away, troll.

Yet you support the CPC with their mindless drivel that they call "policy"?
You seem to be unable to come up with your talking points. That is what makes you brain dead. You've atrophied so much from not having to think for yourselves.

So what was keeping Dion from pulling the plug on Parliament lo these many months? Oh, yeah, those polls nobody pays any attention to.
Canadians need to see how crooked the CPC really is. We don't want to be governed by bikers or their molls or whatever. Crooks right to the top in the CPC. No hurry to pull the plug. You are contained. Now you are cornered.

Go away, troll.
Can't take the heat can you?

Hahahaha!

Is anonhaha referring to the PMs wife, and also a former female MP from AB when he refers to biker chicks. These women both ride/rode their bikes around Ottawa. Guess he has forgotten that on Lib minister, who after being caught, was made an ambassador, was in his previous life before being elected was an accountant for those involved with the mafia. Has he ever read the FBI reports on said mafia figure.

Anonymous said...

biker chicks.
No, when referring to biker chicks with this government, I am referring to Bernier's moll, who was married to an enforcer for Hell's Angels, a criminal enterprise.

It's not the bike that's the problem, it's the members of a criminal enterprise who happen to like riding.

Guess he has forgotten that on Lib minister, who after being caught, was made an ambassador, was in his previous life before being elected was an accountant for those involved with the mafia.
No, he was made an ambassador before "being caught". He was fired from that after. After the allegations of mob connections, he was banned for life from the Liberal Party.

You see, being in power most of the time, you will attract some bad apples. And when found out, they are removed.

But don't think you can make any sort of parallel with the gross incompetence that resulted in a Hell's Angels enforcer's former wife being in possession of National Security documents. Though I must admit, watching Harper, the biggest control freak we've ever seen, trying to defend Bernier with "oh that's none of our business". Hilarious.

Oh the liberal anons are beside themselves with joy today.

Well have a good day guys, 'cause you Magnicient leader just laid ALL of his cards on the table.

Carbon tax to pay for social program piddly increases, piddly cuts to income tax.
Reverse everything the Conservative government acheived in office so far,
oh, except the Child Tax Benefit, Dion will add $6.72 week to cover the increased cost of that beer and popcorn.

No wonder Baird looked to be having so much fun in QP yesterday.

How about this parallel: losing a billion dollars in Brantford with absolutely no idea where it went. And what did Jane Stewart get for that gross incompetence? Oh, yeah, she got to stay a Liberal for life.

Anonymous said...

But that isn't a parallel.

Oh well, have a nice day at the PMO, chum.
